Reverence is a USA-based band formed in 2010, and Gods Of War is their sophomore release.  The band plays straightforward Traditional Metal with occasional Power Metal elements sliced in for good measure, focusing on strong, driving rhythms and song structures that feature pounding drum beats, solid guitar work, and semi-higher octave, melodic vocals delivered by Todd Michael Hall (Riot V, Jack Starr’s Burning Starr).

Although there may not be much “new” or unique within Gods Of War, the album is well written and played, and you’re bound to find all 11 tracks are enjoyable and worthy of your attention and support.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.

  1. Fine album if you like traditional metal. Played with passion & conviction, it’s one that is an easy listen. Some pretty tasty lead guitar work on this album is what gets my attention.
