Exxplorer hails from New Jersey, USA — a Traditional Metal band that developed during the early ‘80s.  Though probably never being given the chance they fully deserved at international success, Exxplorer has reunited and Pure Steel Records is rereleasing their acclaimed Symphonies Of Steel from 1984.  The production quality of the album sounds pretty much like a demo, but there are a number of good tracks that resonate like a mix between Iron Maiden (Killers), pre-Hair Metal Dokken (Tooth And Nail), and Classic Hard Rock stalwarts Budgie.   Polished songwriting acumen lacks at times here, but there’s still plenty to enjoy.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
