Nightglow is 5-piece Italian-based band and their latest release, entitled Orpheus, is their 2nd full length to date. Nightglow plays a form of Modern Thrash filled with energy and vigor, and by and large Orpheus benefits from solid production. The “warning” here is Nightglow’s form of Thrash includes harsh shouted vocals mixed with semi-clean vocals – and plenty of them.  Those two styles turn on a dime … if you don’t like shouted vocals then this album will not be for you and it also won’t be if you detest clean varieties. Unfortunately, despite the passion, this album generally falls short.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
