Crossed Fire is from Portugal, and Life’s A Gamble is their debut full-length release.  The band plays a Melodic Hardcore/Thrash blend much in the same vein as Pantera’s signature sound, and David Rosa’s vocal delivery is strikingly similar to Phil Anselmo’s.  Crossed Fire is the type of outfit that seems to put every ounce of energy into every note they play, and Rosa’s performance makes you think that he probably needs a couple days between live shows to repair chronic throat bleeds.  The album contains 12 tracks of brutality coming in at 39 minutes … listen first; then shower later.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
