Nigel Bailey is a talented vocalist out of the U.K., currently with a band called Three Lions.  In 2014 Bailey paired up with Frontiers Records to use their studio musicians and release what essentially is a solo album, Long Way Down, under the name Bailey.  Most of the songs are straightforward Melodic Rock, and like many albums issued within this genre, the focal point is Bailey’s voice and heartfelt lyrics.  The album is easy to listen to and has enough behind the lyrics to make it worthy of multiple spins when you’re looking for something delving into the lighter side.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
