Kaledon is a veteran Epic Power Metal band out of Italy, and their latest chapter in the storyline is Antillius: The King Of The Light.  The honest truth is more “questionable” Metal comes out of Italy than quality music, however, Kaledon represents everything that’s “good” in the Epic subgenre.  The band weaves in fairly intricate (yet understandable) plots into their compositions while keeping it catchy, innovative, and very easy to listen to without getting bogged down in the details.  There are some Folk and Progressive elements within this new release that spice up one of the best albums of 2014.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
