Motor City Madman Ted Nugent is at it again with his 1st studio album, ShutUp&Jam!, in 7 years. Joining Ted are bassist Greg Smith, drummer Mick Brown (ex-Dokken), and co-guitarist/co-vocalist Derek St. Holmes. Sammy Hagar takes microphone duties for the track “She’s Gone.” Ted is famous (and self-proclaims himself) for producing incredibly tasty guitar riffs and pumping, energetic grooves that just “feel good.” ShutUp&Jam! lives up to that expectation … nearly every song has great potential when the first notes resonate. The big downfalls this time are juvenile lyrics and stale song topics that Ted’s rehashed time and time again.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
