Gun Barrel is a German-based Traditional Metal band that’s been quite active since their 2000 debut EP. The band has had a rather torrid run through various vocalists over the years, with Patrick Suhl now at the mic for the last two albums. In their early years, Gun Barrel leaned towards the rougher side of Traditional Metal, with plenty of punch and in-your-face aggression to be found within their music. With Damage Dancer, though good, the band gravitates more towards Melodic Metal, and much of that crunch and punch of the past has faded, making for a more vanilla release.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
