Iron Savior is a German-based Epic Power Metal band, and Rise Of The Hero is their 8th studio release. The new album follows the German Power Metal mold, incorporating upbeat tempos, frenetic double bass drum work, blistering guitar solos, and higher octave vocals all blended into a form of rough, wonderfully chaotic music. Rise Of The Hero contains 12 tracks (13 if you buy the limited edition digipak), and excepting the Mando Diao cover of “Dance With Somebody” (which sticks out worse than a sore thumb), all the tracks rock and will have you proclaiming, “all hail the Iron Savior!”

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
