Thrash Bombz hail from Italy, and Mission Of Blood is their debut full length release, containing a hybrid of Old School Thrash and Death Metal. Vocalist Leonardo “Thrash Maniac” Botta delivers his messages via aggressive shouts at the expense of melody, but musically the 12 tracks contained within Mission Of Blood follow true-to-form with many of the best qualities Thrash has been credited for over the years. There are plenty of crunching riffs and chord schemes that bombard with walls of sound, however, Botta’s vocals are too much too often, bringing the overall enjoyment of the album down several notches.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
