Atlanta USA’s David T. Chastain reunited with female vocalist Leather Leone, who recorded 5 albums with Chastain in the ‘80s. The new Chastain release entitled Surrender To No One features Chastain’s Traditional/Doomy guitar style along with the talents of one of the best Progressive/Power Metal drummers in the business (Stian Kristoffersen of Pagan’s Mind and Firewind). Musically, that combination is innovative and works well. The only drawback of the album is, ironically, Leather Leone … her “tough girl” vocal style is simply over the top and too prominent in the mix; bringing an otherwise solid album down a few notches.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
