Germany’s Sodom, celebrating over 30 years as a band, is set to release Epitome Of Torture. Those familiar with Sodom will know they combine a Thrash platform with Death Metal and Venom-esque Black Metal elements. Epitome Of Torture has a bit more emphasis on the “melodic” side of that powerhouse mixture, but by and large Sodom stays true to form, and shouldn’t disappoint their fans or Metalheadz who enjoy rough and chaotic Thrash, combined with a half-mix vocal approach that blends shouts with subdued growls. The whole album is fast and furious… however, lack of variety is its weakness.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
