( votes)Love at first sting is the biggest album of the Scorpions career. Magazine-cover stars, Rock in Rio appearance, a world tour that rivaled the biggest bands ( in both length and attendance numbers), hit singles and six million records sold. They are all here: Bad boys running wild, Rock you like a hurricane, Still loving you, Big city nights and Coming home. All hard rock classics, and should be familiar to anyone growing up in the eighties.
Come to think about it, Love at first sting should be familiar to everyone interested in hard/heavy rock. If you’ve never been a fan, or maybe you never even heard the band, try this one, and find out what all the fuss was about. The Love at first sting Tour resulted in one of the best live albums ever, World Wide Live, but that’s another review…
Highlights: Big city nights, Coming home, I’m leaving you, Bad boys running wild, Rock you like a hurricane.
