( votes)Usual? Well, yes they do. Veterans of the rock scene, Rick Deringer, Tim Bogert and Carmine Appice, has a new album out, and it’s a record that will be lapped up by the fans of these old gentlemen. For the rest of us, well…I doubt if they will get any new fans with this album. But that’s not the point with this release is it? Both the title and the songs confirm this suspicion.
And the logos on the sleeve sure reminds me of an album released by some people called: Beck, Bogert and Appice… The album consists of blues-rock songs with throw-away lyrics (Blood from a stone, Everybody’s Comin’, Boys night out etc). This is the album you give to your dad, instead of getting him the new Clapton album…
Highlights: Blood from a stone, Grey Day
