I really don’t know what to make of this Paul Gilbert solo album. It is a mixture of brash, loud, fast “new punkish” tunes including widdly diddly guitar solols, a cover of the Spice Girls hit single “When 2 becomes 1” and Mr Big-like songs. If this sounds like your cup of tea, go ahead…, make yourself a nice ‘cuppa… and enjoy owning an alligator farm. But do you really need one…?
